Mary-Sue is an award winning ﬁlmmaker and writer. She specialises in comedy performance and loves to collaborate with actors as well as DP’s to get the best performances and look for her spots.
She has spent the last 18 years working in advertising and for broadcasters including UKTV, Comedy Central and The BBC (where she trained at Elstree Studios in performance direction), and often writes and directs with Trevor Robinson at Quiet Storm.
Mary-Sue has a lot of experience in taking commercials and content from script to screen. She’s picked a few awards and has won many pitches along the way, including Superdrug, Young’s Seafood and Pinterest. She works solo, with or with comedy writing partner Claire Lambert.
When she’s not ﬁlming ads, Mary-Sue is currently working on a comedy mini-series and her short ﬁlm. She is represented by HunkyDory Films.
